Yuru Camp/Laid Back Camp Live Action Western Adaptation by Netflix and YTV confirmed

To celebrate it’s anime’s 10th anniversary, Laid Back Camp will be creating a live-action remake of the series premiering in 2028, in conjunction with Netflix and YTV Canada!

Auditions for the cast are ongoing currently.

The live action adaptation of the Japanese series, which had a live action series before in 2020, will be Westernized for a worldwide audience and will be filmed in Canada, the world’s most popular camping destination.

The show’s main characters Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Rin Shima, Ena Saito, Chiaki “Aki” Ogaki and Aoi Inuyama will be renamed Natalie Christenson, Lynn Banks, Shayna Sterling, Jacqueline “Jackie” Orville and Abby Irving respectively.
