I don't know if it's true, however there's rumors, that the anime Laid-Back camp might be set in Alberta. This would make sence as there's already cover art revealing a lake and the mountains which reasemble the Banff National Park mountains. This could just be coincidence, but I mean just take a look at the picture below. There's no doubt there's some inspiration to the Canadian landcape and who knows, it might be happening. I mean what is your though, do you think after having all of its other seasons set in Japan, do you think they'll finally make it to Canada. Personally as a Canadian I really hope it's true because this show always gave me Canada vibes, I mean camping in the mountainside has always been associated with Canada, Norway, Iceland and France, also I've been waiting for an anime set in Canada for Ages. Honestly I think it would also make sence since there's a lot, and I mean a LOT of tourists from Japan visiting Banff every year including the original writer of Yuru camp AKA Jin Tanaka. He said he was "inspired by its beatiful landscapes" and talked about previously camping in Northern Canada. Honestly it would only make sence since we already got a cover which looks really familiar.

As you can see these mountains reasemble the real life mountains of Canadian Rockies in South-West Alberta, maybe it's a sign, or a sheer coincidence, but these mountains look very alike to the ones in Banff.

I'm always worried when an anime switches studios, but 8-bit has some good recent anime under its belt including BLUELOCK (2022) and is know for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

That said, in the promo image, Rin looks a little off, so hopefully that isn't a sign.
