The start of production of the 4th season of Yuru Camp! is announced.
Apparently the jobs portrayed in the movie are all fake and they secretly work in an underground lab after high school!
Get ready for the new phase of Nadeshiko, Rin, Chiaki, Aoi, Ena, and Ayano: Komatta Lab🧪 (困った 研究室, "Troublesome Lab")!

YuruCamp.jp - TVアニメ『ゆるキャン△ SEASON3』AT-X、TOKYO MX、BS11ほかにて4月4日より順次放送開始! 2024.02.24 (in Japanese; in English: ''TV anime “Yuru CampΔ SEASON 3” will start broadcasting on AT-X, TOKYO MX, BS11 and others from April 4th!'')
I'm always worried when an anime switches studios, but 8-bit has some good recent anime under its belt including BLUELOCK (2022) and is know for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
That said, in the promo image, Rin looks a little off, so hopefully that isn't a sign.
I'm not sure how much it cost to make the movie, but it made over $2.5 million dollars in 3 days, which is pretty good.
Someone on Twitter said the movie made ¥735+ million by the July 17 which is over $5.3 million. Here's a forum post with a similar amount.
I'm not sure what anime movie budgets are like, but I doubt it was over ¥600 million. For example, In This Corner Of The World supposedly cost around ¥520 million (~$3.75 million) to make, so I would guess the Yuru Camp△ movie cost around ¥415 million (~$3 million) to make. So hopefully, the movie is making a tidy profit.
The last episode of Season 2, "I'm Home"/"We're Home" has been released on streaming services, so it is ready for you binge watchers.
She's young and hopefully otherwise healthy, so we should all wish her a speedy and problem free recovery. Looks like she got it from stage play rehearsals...
here will be a special pre-screening of the first episode of season 2 on November 29, 2020 at Tokyo's Marunouchi Piccadilly. The main voice cast will be in attendance, and 36 theaters across Japan will livestream both the cast appearance and the premiere.
