Notes & Trivia
This episode has two stops in the Yamanashi Kids' Stamp Rally:

- Site of the Nanbu Fire Festival (南部の火祭り), in the Fuji River riverbed at the Toguri river junction. The bridge is route 803, crossing the Fuji river.
Torch throwing is a traditional activity as part of the Nanbu Fire Festival. Children swing a flaming torch, then throw it up at a bundle of straw that's sitting atop a tall pole. In this episode, Aoi almost hits Chiaki with the torch when her throw goes wild.
