Meanwhile, she is invited by Nadeshiko (Yuno Ohara) to her grandmother's house in Hamamatsu. When she arrives, Nadeshiko's childhood friend Ayano (Anna Ishii) is also there, and the three of them get excited talking about her old stories and recent camping trips. Nadeshiko's surprising past is also revealed!? And in the evening, the three of them decide to go to an observation deck from Nadeshiko's memories...
- Wiki version
Arriving at the home of Nadeshiko's grandmother, Rin is overcome by shyness when they are greeted by Nadeshiko's old friend Ayano, and she retreats into her shell. Ayano breaks the ice by telling stories of younger days growing up with Nadeshiko. They form a bond as fellow bikers when Ayano shows off her motorbike. That night they go to an observation deck looking out over Lake Hamana.[3] Rin tells them her feelings about solo camping.
Rin's grandfather picks her up in the morning. Back at school the girls give presents to Chiaki who didn't get to travel over the holiday. They try out some ways to keep warm while camping.
Room Camp[]
The Outdoor Activities Club do some camping practice using the tarp which Chiaki got them.

Notes & Trivia[]
- Rin, Nadeshiko, and Ayano go to Mikkabi Takayama Observatory (三ヶ日高山ふれあいの森展望台, Mikkabi Takayama fureainomori tenbō-dai). This is not the same observation deck that was shown in the manga and anime. That one was closed as unsafe, and got torn down in spring 2021. The Mikkabi Takayama observation deck is nearby, and also has a view of Lake Hamana, so it was used for filming of this episode.[4]
- For whatever reason, the creators didn't bring the actor for Rin's grandfather onto set for the episode. He has a couple lines of dialog, but they never show his face. A stand-in is all that is seen.
