The OEC is going on a winter camping trip. Getting off the train at Mt. Fuji Station in Fujiyoshida, they take a bus to the Caribou store there. Ena gets some text messages from Chikuwa, and the girls wonder who’s sending them. Rin, working at the book store, worries whether the OEC will be alright during their winter camping trip.

This chapter became part of Caribou-kun and Lake Yamanaka (Season 2, Episode 5) of the anime.
Their trip requires multiple trains, heading from Minobu north to Kofu (Minobu Line, 1hr15), then east to Otsuki (Chuo Line 1hr), and from there southwest to Mt Fuji Station in Fujiyoshida (Fujikyuko Line 50mins).^[1]
Mt. FUJI STATION (富士山駅, Stop ID: FJ16) is a huge station which can accommodate a large number of tourists every year. The entrance is underneath a large torii gate. This is only two stops away from Kawaguchiko Station, which would have been their arrival point in Kawaguchi which the OEC visited in episodes 2, 3, and 5 of Heya CampΔ.
Mount Fuji Radar Dome Museum (富士山レーダードーム館) is a science museum mostly about meteorological topics. It is across the street from the Montbell/Caribou store.
This Caribou store is based on outdoor-sports store Montbell (モンベル富士吉田店) in Fujiyoshida. The spirit animal for the actual store is Bear-san, which is changed to Caribou-san in the manga. Their mascot Doggo-san is still the same.
