Minami Toba (鳥羽 美波, Toba Minami) is a teacher at Motosu High School. She becomes the advisor for the Outdoor Activities Club before the Christmas camping trip.
Appearance[]
Minami has black-long hair tied around her shoulder and black eyes. She wears glasses when she's not at work or driving. In her first appearance, she wears an off-white hat and black winter jacket.
Personality[]
When she is at school, she acts like a shy and kind teacher. But after school, she's an alcoholic who loves to drink a lot and watch foreign television dramas. Her nickname "Miss Chug" came because of that.
Camping[]
She used to camp with her family weekly when she was little and her sister took it as a hobby; she usually comes with her sometimes.
In the series, she got invited to become advisor of The Outdoor Activities Club.
In Season 2 of the anime, Minami takes her advisor role more seriously. On Rin's prompt, she goes looking for Chiaki, Aoi and Ena while they were camping at Lake Yamanaka, having ill-prepared themselves for the trip. Minami finds them at a tent belonging to a different camping group, and reminds them to run their camping plans through her. Weeks later, Minami supervises the Izu camping trip with all of the five main characters, as well as Aoi's younger sister Akari.
Relationships[]
Nadeshiko Kagamihara - They met on Lake Shibire seeing her as this drunk woman. But later on in the series, she recognizes something that's familiar then edited her out by drawing some hoodie, beer, and glasses; she got shocked afterward when that's the lady they met on the camping site back then.
She thanked her for sharing their food back then and the same goes for her.
Chiaki Ōgaki - Minami is a regular visitor to the off-license that Chiaki works at, and learns of the nickname "Miss Chug" used to refer to Minami.
Rin Shima - Minami met Rin alongside Nadeshiko while the latter two were camping at Lake Shibire and the former was drunk. That night, Rin ran away in fear having mistaken the still-intoxicated Minami that stumbled upon their part of the campsite, as the "ghost" of the lake. Rin was later informed of Minami becoming the Outdoor Activities Club advisor, and thus received her contact details.

- Minami (kanji 美波, hiragana みなみ) means "beautiful wave" and Toba (kanji 鳥羽, hiragana とば) is the name of a coastal city in Mie Prefecture,which resides on Tokai area many of Charactor's names came from.
- She's a drinker which is why she inherited the nickname "Miss Chug".
- She became the advisor of The Outdoor Activities Club by accident when she concerned about club members setting a bonfire in the schoolyard
